Furano has two ski schools. Both schools are of a very high standard and offer a range of lessons to suit all guests’ needs. Both Ski Schools can operate on both sides of the ski area.

Kitanomine Ski School
Kitanomine Ski School is located near the base of the Quad chair in Kitanomine Zone.

Local instructors are available with some instructors being able to speak English. Kitanomine Ski School ensures guests will enjoy learning to ski or snowboard.

Great fun kid’s lessons are ensured here with the instructors going out of their way to communicate and look after all the kid’s needs and attempting to get the kids to have as an enjoyable ski class as possible.

Furano Prince Hotel Ski School
Kiminobu Kimura, a 4 time Olympian runs this high quality ski school located at the base of the Furano Zone. The Ski School has a desk in the New Furano Hotel’s locker area by the ski-in ski-out entrance. The office is located beside the base of the Prince romance pair lift just a short walk from the ski entrance for the New Furano Prince Hotel. Children’s classes are both enjoyable and well run with kids improving rapidly and enjoying their time on the ski hill.
