Lake Kanayama
This large lake sits in the middle of some stunning nature. You can enjoy outdoor activities such as canoeing and swimming during the summer months. Lake Kanayama is located near Minami Furano. There is a beautiful lavender farm located next to the lake. There is a camp ground at the lake.

Access Lake Kanayama is about 9km from JR Ikutora station which is a very small station. There are no staff here and often no taxis.

The easiest way to get to Kanayama may be to get a taxi or rent a car from Furano. It takes about 40minutes by car from Furano.
