This large farm is located near Biei on a rolling hill which provides guests with a stunning view of the surrounding areas including the Tokachidake mountain range.
This farm plants and replants throughout the season to insure that the changing fields are always spectacular.
“The Observatory Flower Field, The Hill of Seasonal Colours” is located in “The town of the rolling hills”, Biei. The farm is 7 hectares and there are various flowers and plants flowering here throughout the non winter months. One could describe this place as a “Flower Paradise”. Please come and enjoy the gentle flower scent as well as the spectacular scenery.
In summer there is a farmers market available selling locally grown produce. Quad bikes are available to hire and you can even take a ride in a helicopter to view the flowers from above.

Hill of Shikisai is about 3km from JR Bibaushi station; about 20 minutes by foot and 5 minutes by car.
You can rent a bicycle or mountain bike at the outdoor shop “Gaido-no-yamagoya” just near JR Bibaushi station.
